Indian Spiced Chickpea Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 2 teaspoons turmeric
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cayenne red pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • A dash of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking oil
  • Buns and whatever topping you want

Recipe

Mash the chickpeas with a fork or potato masher. Add the spices and mix well. Form into patties and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown and holding together, in a greased pan. Putin buns, add toppings, and enjoy!
